Chapter no.2 POLYNOMIALS ( DIVISION ALGORITHM)
Today we are going to learn ,
1) Standard form of Cubic Polynomial and how verify the relationship between the zeroes and coefficients of cubic Polynomial
2) Division algorithm for Polynomials.
Today we are going to learn ,
1) Standard form of Cubic Polynomial and how verify the relationship between the zeroes and coefficients of cubic Polynomial
2) Division algorithm for Polynomials.
Now observe example ,
Division algorithm for Polynomials :-
If p(x) and g(x) are any two Polynomials with g(x) not equal to zero then we can find Polynomials q(x) and r(x) such that
P(x) = g(x) × q(x) + r(x) ,
Where r(x) = 0 or degree of r(x) less than degree of g(x)
This result is known as the DIVISION ALGORITHM for Polynomials.
Here p(x) = dividend , g(x) = divisor, q(x) = quotient and r(x) = remainder
Now observe the examples ,
