Chapter no. 1 Number System
Today we are going to learn the most important content from chapter 1 of your Mathematics textbook .
So kindly note down the following terms while watching video from given link.
Types of Numbers:-
1) Natural numbers- (Counting numbers )
1,2,3,..............upto infinite
2) Whole number -  0,1,2,3,..........upto infinite
3) Integers- ...........-3,-2,-1,0,1,2,3,.........
All natural numbers and their negative including 0 are called integers and it is denoted by Z.
4) Rational numbers- If the number which can be expressed in p/q form where both p and q are integers and q not equal to zero then it is called Rational numbers. It is denoted by Q.
e.g 2/3  , -3/5,  -7 etc.
5) Irrational numbers- It is defined in two ways
i) Non-perfect square number present in square root symbol are called Irrational number.
ii) Non-terminating and non-recurring decimal form are called Irrational number.
